What's New in Wavo Marketing Analytics: October 2021

Each month, we like to showcase some of the new features we’ve added to Wavo’s Marketing Analytics for Music platform.

In August, we launched a new Digital Marketing Benchmark Dashboard, that helps music marketers better predict and and measure their performance over time. You can read all about that here

This month, we introduced a music industry-first into our Marketing Analytics platform: the ability to connect and visualize marketing and streaming data in one place, enabling users to make faster, more informed decisions for artist campaigns. Plus, two handy features that improve music marketing reports.

Read on for the breakdown.

Make More Informed Decisions with Streaming and Marketing Data Visualizations

Audiences engage with artists across many marketing channels and streaming platforms, scattering data across companies and creating silos within teams. Without a central place to manage all this data, marketers can’t make informed decisions and instead spend up to 64% of their time bogged down in tedious manual work.

That’s why we released our newest data ingestion product, which enables music marketers to collect their artists’ streaming data, regardless of platform or format, and visualize this data alongside marketing metrics in Campaign Dashboards.

The results: a more complete picture of artist investments that enables faster, more informed decisions, without the need for one-off analysis or multi-platform data dives.

While we're launching now, there's so much more planned. For now, you’ll see two main charts.

Streaming Objective Pacing. With Streaming Objectives for an artist visible and their pacing tracked within Campaign Dashboards, agency partners unlock more informed and strategic marketing suggestions from Wavo based on their desired outcomes for a release, i.e a target number of album streams. This graph make it easy to:

  • Improve team alignment by connecting marketing efforts to streaming outcomes

  • Make more strategic decisions based Business Objectives and pacing toward them

  • Drive better budget planning for future releases, by knowing how current trends perform to previous trends.

Streaming and Marketing Trends. In addition to the Streaming Objectives pacing tracker, we introduced a second chart that helps marketers visualize and compare their campaign and streaming data in one place. This helps them...

  • Save time on manual data stitching and pasting data from one report to the next

  • Capture trends in real-time so strategy, budgets, and resources can be adjusted accordingly

  • Unlock visual comparisons you don’t get in the individual source platforms

Create Custom Reports in Your Dashboard

You can now add or hide specific metrics in your Heatmap reports. This way, users can quickly create data groupings related to campaign goals, tailor reports to how their teams measure success, and control what information is shared to others.

Share Your Marketing Insights with Stakeholders

This one might seem small, but it’s important. Users can now export campaign reports to PDF to keep stakeholders who may not have access to Wavo Marketing Analytics in the loop.
