2021 in Review: Product Highlights

In 2021, we were busy building and improving features based on your feedback, all with the same goal in mind: to help music marketers make data-driven decisions for their artist campaigns.

From new integrations to data visualizations and tagging tools, let’s take a look back at the major product updates rolled out in 2021 to help you get the most out of Wavo.

Unify Your Marketing and Streaming Data in Campaign Dashboards

In 2021, we made it possible to ingest first-party streaming data into Campaign Dashboards, allowing users to overlay marketing KPIs like views and clicks with streams to draw comparisons and make more informed decisions about releases. All without the need for cleaning up spreadsheets, copy and pasting data, or manual data viz.

Find the Analytics Answers You Need with a New Help Center

We also released an all-new Help Center site with the latest introductory guides and best practices for the Wavo platform. Much of this content was published in the form of a YouTube channel too. Bonus: all of these resources are accessible from within the Wavo platform when you click the “Help” button.

Easily Organize and Find Your Data with Data Tags

In March 2021, we rolled out bulk tagging for Data Tags, which are keywords that you add to campaigns to classify them. This makes it easy to organize, find, and combine artist data to create custom reports later on, like Digital Marketing Benchmarks (more on that below).

Better Measure, Budget, and Forecast Campaigns with the Benchmark Dashboard

In June 2021, we released the Digital Marketing Benchmark Dashboard. This dashboard combines your campaign data together to surface the benchmarks needed to accurately forecast and measure your marketing performance. Using Data Tags, you can create benchmarks by platform, artist, genre, territory, and more. They’re completely customizable!

Keep Your Whole Team in Sync with Reference Lines

Reference Lines provide a common definition of success to align your team around. Compared against the live data in your chart, Reference Lines make it easy to see your progress toward a goal, like a total number of ThruPlays or a Spotify stream count. This way, your whole team stays in sync on what is most important for your artist campaign.

Additional Features Released in 2021

Get the most out of the Wavo platform with:

  • Custom Heatmaps: You can now add or hide specific metrics in your Heatmap reports. This way, you can create data groupings related to campaign goals, tailor reports to how your team measures success, and control what information is shared with others.

  • PDF Exports: You can now export campaign reports to PDF to keep stakeholders who may not have access to Wavo Marketing Analytics in the loop.

  • Multi-Currency Support for Accurate Reporting: You can now view multiple currencies in pacing graphics, the media mix, and across other data. This allows you to present financial information in a way all users understand and avoid confusion.

  • White Label Dashboard. Use Wavo’s white label option to customize the look and feel of your analytics dashboards—including color, logos, and URLs—to match your artist or organization and keep a consistent appearance.

We can't wait to show you what's planned for 2022! Until then, have a restful and happy holiday break.
