Feature Update: Wavo's Assistants Are Now Context-Aware 🧠

Getting help inside a data platform shouldn’t require explaining where you are first.

That’s why we’ve upgraded Wavo’s in-app Assistant to be fully context-aware. It now automatically understands which dashboard or page you’re viewing, so you can ask direct, natural questions without providing extra detail.

✨ What’s New

The Assistant now detects your current page automatically within the Marketing Dashboards and Audience Dashboard. As you move between supported dashboards and views, it updates its understanding in real time.

This means you can ask questions like:

  • “What does this dashboard show?”

  • “How is this metric calculated?”

  • “What should I be looking at here?”

No need to name the dashboard. No need to upload screenshots. No need to describe what you’re seeing.

The Assistant uses built-in page awareness to surface relevant definitions, help articles, and workflow suggestions tailored to your exact location in these dashboards.

✅ No Setup Required

If you’re already using the sidebar Assistant, nothing changes.

Just click "Maximize" in any assistant panel to enter full-page mode when you need more space to work. You can go back and forth anytime.

📊 Why This Matters

Previously, users had to describe where they were in the platform to get meaningful help. The Assistant could not always distinguish between similar dashboards or metrics, which led to generic answers and extra back-and-forth.

Now, within the Marketing and Audience Dashboards, responses are more relevant, more accurate, more concise, and delivered faster.

Today, context awareness is live within the Marketing Dashboards and Audience Dashboard.

Next, we’re expanding this capability across the entire Wavo platform. Soon, the Assistant will understand your location and workflow anywhere you work in Wavo, from planning tools to reporting views and beyond.
