Permanently Deleting Your Wavo Account

Permanently deleting your Wavo account erases all of your information from Wavo’s databases. After completing this process, you can no longer use any of your Wavo services, your account and all of its data will be removed permanently, and Wavo will not be able to restore your account or retrieve your data in the future. If you contact Wavo Support in the future, the system will not recognize your account and our Support Team will not be able to locate the deleted account.

When you delete your account, community members will no longer be able to see it. While we are deleting this information, it is inaccessible to other users. Some of the things you do on the platform aren’t stored in your account. For example, a friend may still have messages from you even after you delete your account. That information remains after you delete your account.


Step 1

While logged in, select the arrow in the top right corner next to your profile picture. A drop-down menu will appear. In the drop-down menu, select "Wavo Preferences."


Step 2

After selecting "Wavo Preferences," a pop-up window will appear. At the bottom right corner you will see a large red button saying "Delete Account." Once you click on it, you will be prompted to confirm that you do indeed wish to delete your account.

Please note: deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.


Step 3

Once you have confirmed that you wish to permanently delete your account, another pop-up will appear informing you that while it may take up to two minutes to process, your account has been deleted.
