What is Wavo Boost and how can I view my results?

Boost is a promotional tool that allows you to get your track featured on our publisher network, which includes respected music sites like Consequence of Sound and Hype Machine. Boost can be a great way for up-and-coming artists to reach a new base of potential fans!

Boost is not a play-for-play service. It is designed to increase online exposure and visibility for artists & their new material.

To view your statistics on a Boosted track, click on the track, and then on the "Boost Stats" button. You will be able to view all of the sites on which your ad was hosted, as well as the number of impressions it's generated on each site.

What genres is Boost for?

Boost publishers advertisements on sites that cater to audiences from all genres. To learn more about the different acts we've run campaigns for, please check out some of our case studies: https://wavo.me/pages/blog.

Why can't I see my track on any of the listed publishers?

If you check our any of the listed publishers, you will see a 'Top Trending Music' section sponsored by Wavo. This is where all of our boosted tracks appear. Tracks boosted with Wavo are part of a "playlist" that shuffles with each page refresh. Your track will have approximately 1000 views per $1 boosted. For example, if you boosted for $50, it would receive approximately 50,000 views across these sites.

An "impression", sometimes called a view or an ad view, is a term that refers to the point in which an ad is viewed once by a visitor, or displayed once on a web page. The number of impressions of a particular advertisement is determined by the number of times the particular page is located and loaded.

What is an impression?

Your song is advertised across a number of top music publishers included in our Boost network.  If you check your stats you can see the specific number of impressions generated. Please note that Wavo is not a pay-for-play service. Pay-for-play type services do exist, but are generally against the terms of most platforms as they artificially generate plays.

Why do I have so few plays?

The receipt that you were sent reflects what you're receiving and not what you're paying. If you check out your credit card statement, you'll see that you received the discount.

I thought I was supposed to receive a discount. Why didn't it show up on my receipt?

Basic campaigns start at $5 per day and reach a maximum of 5,000 fans.

Premium campaigns currently run for around 2 weeks, reach about 500,000 music fans and cost $400. These campaigns are set up with our account managers, target specific high quality websites/blogs, and are constantly optimized to reach music fans in the most effective way.

We do not have enough advertising inventory to offer free Boost campaigns.
