I have reason to believe a participant is cheating.

We take allegations of cheating very seriously, and look into every report we receive. We have a system in place that automatically informs us of vote manipulation, but wait until we're able to verify the report before taking action. In cases where cheating is evident, the user will be flagged and their votes removed at the end of the competition. If a user is found guilty of violating contest rules on multiple occasions, their account may be deleted. If you'd like to report a user, please email [email protected]


I have received a cheating notification.

Please note that these emails are automatically generated by our system. We check each entry manually at the end of each competition. Any fake votes are removed at that time. 

We understand that sometimes these votes are not encouraged by the artist, but please do your best to ensure that your friends/family members are not advertising your material on pay-for-play platforms or purchasing votes for your submissions. Generating fake votes through pay-for-play services, spam or any similar platforms will result in having your track removed from the competition, and in suspension from future competitions.


The artist's team is responsible for selecting the winner(s). It is usually based on metrics like votes, creativity, song selection, mastering and overall quality. They are looking for the best fit at the event/for their label.

How is the winner chosen?


As the judging process is conducted by a third party (the artist's team), it's difficult for us to comment how long it will be for a winner to be announced. Generally it takes 2-3 weeks for a winner to be selected, contacted, and announced, though this can take up to several months in some cases. This is subject to variation, depending on the number of submissions received. 

When will the winner be announced?


This issue has likely arisen because you have a pop-up blocker installed. Please make sure that any extensions you have are temporarily disabled while you operate the site. 

I've clicked on the "Download Stems" button, but nothing is happening. Why?


The stems for most competition have been whitelisted for the duration of the competition, meaning that the use of the song has been cleared by the label. If you choose to post your track online after a competition has ended, we cannot protect it from being removed for copyright infringement. 

Not all competitions allow submissions through all 3 - Soundcloud, YouTube and Wavo - platforms. Please check the rules before uploading and submitting your track.

Can I post my track to SoundCloud or YouTube after the conclusion of a remix competition?


Please contact [email protected]. Provide the Wavo link to your submission, as well as a link to the track as it appears on either SoundCloud or YouTube. A member of our team will replace your entry without losing you any votes or plays. 

My song won't playback.


Your friends have likely accidentally skipped a step in the voting process. They will be asked to follow our partner on a social media platform (Spotify, SoundCloud, or Facebook), then asked to share the track. Once they move past these pages (by sharing or clicking "Next"), their votes should be counted. Please refrain from voting on our mobile site, and make sure that any extensions you (or others) may be using, are temporarily disabled while operating the site. 

My friends are voting for me, but the votes aren't counting.


Our platform only permits one vote per user for the same track.
